On clear days / nights you can easily make out nearby islands.
In fact early caribbean inhabitants could always see the next
island in the chain and their wanderlust soon established settlements
from Trinidad to the Bahamas. The one thing they have in common
is how unique each island is. Antigua's dry, sunny beaches contrast
with Dominica's lush mountains and numerous rivers. Our island
culture contrasts with the sophisticated european feel of Guadeloupe
and Martinique. Montserrat offers the chance to see the effects
of a Volcano up close and personal and Barbuda is totally surrounded
by undeveloped white sand and crystal turqoise water. If you want
to sample something different, this is a great way to do it.
